See You at Edcamp Jersey Shore this Thursday!

Hello Edcamp Jersey Shore Participants,

We are so excited to see you tomorrow, Thursday, August 25th!

The day will begin with a breakfast sponsored by Monmouth County Education Association. Then, there will be a STEM challenge lead by high school students. After that, we will make the session board based upon what we, the participants, want to learn about.

There will be four sessions throughout the day, a catered lunch and raffle prizes. A student run MakerSpace will be available to all participants interested in tinkering and learning more about the Maker movement. Our local Barnes & Noble will have some robots and devices available to experiment with as well.

Please feel welcome to connect to our wifi and to bring your own device. You can view the digital session board by going to tinyurl.com/edcampjs2016board. Chronicle your Edcamp Jersey Shore experience by including #EdcampJS in your tweets or tagging @EdcampJS.

We would like to take a moment to thank our sponsors for their generous donations in making this event possible.Thank you to the Middletown Township Education Association, Buncee, Rook Coffee, New Jersey Principals & Supervisors Association, Monmouth County Education Association, Zaption, Pear Deck, Tiggly, AXA Equitable Financial Services, Education First and the Monmouth County Superintendents’ Roundtable.

Keep the conversations going and join us on the patio at Tommy’s Coal Fire Pizza in Red Bank after Edcamp Jersey Shore. The first round of appetizers is on us! There is free parking in the Galleria and at the near by Red Bank train station.

Looking forward to learning with you on Thursday.

Most Sincerely,
The Edcamp Jersey Shore Planning Team
